Fundraising Events
The Eben Ezer Foundation supports several fundraising events. These events are usually tied to a specific fundraising goal each year for a specific purpose. All our events have an easy to access, online component with our online giving platform called GiveSmart.
Annual Legacy Community Golf Event
Our themed annual golf event is typically held in June each year. This is not an ordinary golf tournament. It is a community event where anyone can participate in the fun. We have games and fun activities, an online silent auction with fabulous items available for bid, pin prizes for golfers and some years we have a long-drive Pro who participates in the line-up of events. This two-person scramble is well attended by the serious golfer as well as the person just enjoying a day of fun!
The proceeds from this event go toward a specific project each year to make improvements to the campus to benefit our neighbors. We have tremendous community support for the event each year. Since the silent auction is now held online, you do not have to be present at the tournament to bid on the fabulous donated items.

Annual Appeal
Each year, before the end of the year, we make a request from our loyal supporters to consider Eben Ezer in their year-end giving plans. The request is always tied to some capital project or purpose that has not quite reached the funding goal.
In the past few years, we have been able to fund the purchase of a new van to transport neighbors and residents to appointments and outings. We have also used the funding to give our Bethany neighborhood a facelift with new paint, floor covering, window treatments, furniture, and décor. We are also working on a remodel of the outdoor courtyard space in the care center for the neighbors and their families to enjoy when the weather is nice.
The 2025 “Comfort and Cozy” appeal will use the proceeds to purchase new furnishings for all of the assisted living communities under the Eben Ezer umbrella.
