Annual Events – Brush Campus
The Activity team at the Care Center (skilled nursing) on the Brush campus, hosts several annual events. These events are available to all the neighbors on the campus, including the Care Center, The Pines, The Arbor, and Tabor Apartments. Some of our most popular and well attended events include Prom; Hawaiian Luau; Easter Egg Hunt; and the Trick or Treat trail.
Prom
This event is held each year in the spring. We supply a wide range of evening gowns and jackets for the neighbors to choose from along with ties and other “dress up” attire. The Beauty Shop is open for any neighbor to get an “up-do” or style they wish. Team members invite neighbors to attend the event, and sometimes the invites come with a full Prom proposal. Plus, neighbors can invite family or friends to also attend the event.
Our Activity team and other team members from Eben Ezer transform the simple community room into a fabulous space for an afternoon of dancing, music, hor d’oeuvres, and festivities. Our neighbors enjoy reliving a part of their youth, and everyone leaves with a smile!!
Luau
Our annual Luau is a favorite of our neighbors, family members, and the community at-large! Our talented culinary team roasts an entire hog, along with many Polynesian side dishes! We remake the outdoor space into a tropical paradise. We have live entertainment including hula dancers! All our neighbors enjoy the event and many family members join in the festivities! It is indeed a most-loved event for all!
Trick or Treat Trail
The Eben Ezer neighbors and residents host a community Trick or Treat trail on the campus! We have several stations and neighbors dress up in costumes and hand out candy to all the little ones! The trail encompasses the skilled nursing area and our assisted living portion of the campus!
We gather lots of fun goodies, prizes and give-aways generously donated by faithful businesses who support Eben Ezer! We give these goodies away to the kids who come to trick or treat with us.
Easter Egg Hunt
Spring time is a beautiful time on the campus! Flowers are beginning to bloom, the trees are leafing out, and the birds are loving the different fountains on the grounds. It’s also time for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! The neighbors with the help of our team hides lots of colorful eggs full of all kinds of goodies! Kids of all ages flood the campus in search of the golden egg! The neighbors enjoy watching all the kids as they search in every nook and cranny! The laughs and giggles can be heard all around the grounds.

Holiday Family Dinner Celebrations
Each year Eben Ezer hosts a holiday family gathering for all the neighbors in the Care Center, The Pines Assisted Living, and The Arbor on the Brush campus. Family members are treated to a scrumptious traditional holiday meal and entertained by numerous different musical performers from piano soloists, lots of different singers and the local high school choir! The various dining halls are converted to festive elegant dining areas where families and the neighbors enjoy a wonderful celebration together!
Fall Harvest Festival
The leaves are turning vibrant fall colors, the weather is just a little chillier, the pumpkins are big and orange and the Eben Ezer courtyard is turned into a wonderful harvest festival!! There is live music, lots of good fall foods like hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows over an open fire! The neighbors enjoy lots of other drinks, pumpkin carving and fun harvest games! Families come to enjoy the day with their loved ones and it’s an enjoyable event for all!!
